Extension of the Validity of Expired PBR Permits

The Ministry of Works and Transport wishes to advise the public that the validity of Maxi Taxi, Letter, Permanent and Temporary Priority Bus Route Permits (PBR), which expire on December 31st 2022, have been extended to March 31st, 2023. Holders of Permits are advised to adhere to and pay particular attention to the conditions stipulated on PBR Passes to avoid being fined. The Ministry thanks the public for its usual cooperation.

The Ministry of Works and Transport wishes to advise the public that authorisation has been granted to LIGHT MOTOR VEHICLES ONLY to utilize the Priority Bus Route from Pashley Street, Beetham to Vierra Street, Port of Spain from today (Thursday 11th November 2021) until further notice.

Partial Opening of the Priority Bus Route (PBR)

​The Ministry of Works and Transport wishes to advise the general public that authorisation has been granted to LIGHT MOTOR VEHICLES ONLY to utilize the Priority Bus Route from Ramp 1400 (in the vicinity of Citrus Growers Association) to Pashley Street, Beetham from today (Saturday 16th October, 2021) until further notice. Please be guided accordingly.
