The Ministry of Works and Transport wishes to advise the general public that there will be a temporary traffic disruption on the Coora Road 1.2km mark,Siparia in the vicinity of LP #26-A, from Friday 10th March, 2023, 9:00am - Sunday 19th March, 2023, 4:00pm, in order to facilitate Slope Stabilization works.
During this period, there would be temporary traffic disruption with brief periods of traffic stoppage. An alternative route is available off Penal Quinam Road through Coora Extension Trace (Coora Branch Road) to Coora Road OR from the opposite direction from Coora Road to the S.S. Erin Road.
The public is advised to utilize the alternative routes and comply with the following directions:
- Proceed with extreme caution and observe all directional signs and barriers.
- Comply with instructions issued by Police Officers and Traffic Wardens, Flagmen, where necessary, in order to facilitate a safe and orderly flow of traffic.
- Be aware of heavy equipment entering and exiting the work site.
