On Wednesday 30th June, 2016 the Ministry of Works and Transport in collaboration with BHP Billiton Trinidad and Tobago and Arrive Alive, hosted a Traffic Safety Awards Ceremony in honour of nineteen (19) of the nation’s finest exemplars in road safety awareness and enforcement.
Awardees were hand-picked based on their outstanding performance in their line of duty and commitment to road safety in Trinidad and Tobago for 2015; from the Ministry of Works and Transport, including the Licensing and Traffic Warden Divisions, various divisions of the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service, The Trinidad and Tobago Fire Services, Emergency Medical Services of Trinidad and Tobago and Arrive Alive.
Amongst those Awarded were Commissioner of Police (ag) Stephen Williams, for his leadership in Road Safety and Mrs. Sharon Inglefield for her Commitment to Road Safety.
