Senator the Honourable Rohan Sinanan, Minister of Works and Transport assured residents of the Brasso Seco community that continued relief will be delivered to the areas affected by a deluge of seasonably high rainfall.
The Honourable Minister gave the assurance following a tour on Saturday December 24th, 2016 where he assessed and examined on-going works being carried out by the Ministry of Works and Transport.
While Minister Sinanan pledged the assistance of the Ministry’s resources to repair damage caused by heavy rainfall and landslips, he also reinforced that, “the Government’s duty is to bring services and relief to the citizens in this area and will stop at nothing to make sure that everything is back to normal.”
Minister Sinanan was accompanied on the tour by his wife, who assisted him in spreading Christmas cheer to the community by distributing hampers and toys to residents and children
