On Tuesday 19th October, 2021, the Licensing Division of the Ministry of Works and Transport officially launched the Mobile Bus Service with two new (2) buses, fully outfitted with the technology and capabilities to conduct the services of the Licensing Division remotely.
In the first instance, the mobile bus service will increase the daily appointments for the renewal of Driver’s Permits (ONLY) bringing more options for Locations and convenience to customers.
With a full roll-out anticipated by December, the mobile bus service will cater to citizens in rural communities by conducting scheduled visits in those areas, to provide hassle free access to several services.
