REGULATIONS
Made by the Commissioner of Police with the consent of the Minister of Works and
Transport under section 67(1) of the Motor Vehicles and Road Traffic Act
THE TRAFFIC CONTROL (EXPERIMENTAL SCHEME)
(EDINBURGH 500-MONTROSE CONNECTOR BRIDGE) REGULATIONS, 2011
Citation1.These Regulations may be cited as the Traffic Control (Experimental Scheme) (Edinburgh 500-Montrose Connector Bridge) Regulations, 2011.
Duration2. These Regulations shall commence on Monday 21st March, 2011 and shall cease on Monday 19th June, 2011.
One-way traffic3. Motorists shall proceed in an easterly direction only on Clair Street Extension, between Edinburgh Boulevard and Onyx Circular.
No right turn4. No motorist proceeding south along Onyx Circular shall turn right at its intersection with Clair Street Extension.
No “U”- Turn5. No motorist proceeding south along Edinburgh Boulevard shall make a “U” Turn at its intersection with Kestrel Boulevard.
No left turn6. No motorist proceeding north along Onyx Circular shall turn left at its intersection with Clair Street Extension.
Offence7. Any person who contravenes these Regulations is liable on summary conviction for a first offence to a fine of seven hundred and fifty dollars and on any subsequent conviction to a fine of one thousand dollars.
