THE LAND ACQUISITION ACT, CHAP. 58:01
NOTICE OF LAND LIKELY TO BE REQUIRED FOR
PUBLIC PURPOSE
NOTICE is hereby given that it appears to the President that the parcels of lands described in the Schedule and situate in the County of St. Andrew and the County of St. George, are lands likely to be needed for a purpose, which in the opinion of the President, is a public purpose, namely: for the construction of three bridges under Phase 3A of the Bridges Reconstruction Programme of the Ministry of Works and Transport.
SCHEDULE
Three (3) parcels of land comprising approximately 2,633 square metres, situate in the County of St. Andrew and the county of St.George, as follows:
- a parcel of land comprising approximately 1,483 square metres more or less situate at Bridge B1/2 Caigual Road, Manzanilla, in the Ward of Manzanilla, in the County of St. Andrew, and said to belong now or formerly to Abner Properties Limited;
- a parcel of land comprising approximately 400 square metres, more or less, situate at Bridge B1/1 Fondes Amandes Road, St. Ann’s, in the Ward of St. Ann’s, in the County of St.George, and said to belong now or formerly to Cophalise Gracien also called Sephalise Gracien also called Cephalise Gracien; and
- a parcel of land comprising approximately 750 square metres, more or less, situate at Bridge B1/1 Sam Boucaud Extension Road, Santa Cruz, in the Ward of St. Ann’s, in the County of St. George, and said to belong now or formerly to the estate of Charles Edward Barcant and Phyllis Genevieve Barcant.
