#CoastalErosionFacts

The Ministry of Works and Transport (MOWT), Coastal Protection Unit (CPU), has launched the social media campaign, #CoastalErosionFacts. This campaign will raise awareness about the critical state of Trinidad and Tobago’s coastline and educate Trinidad and Tobago’s coastal communities and stakeholders including beachgoers, environmental activists, landowners and residents, hoteliers and tour operators as well as the general public about coastal erosion and ooding, and climate change.

The MOWT will engage its social media followers weekly with content across its social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Trinbagonians may follow the #CoastalErosionFacts hashtag weekly and join in to grow the conversation nationally, regionally and internationally.
