Temporary Traffic Disruption along North Coast Road Printable Version

The Ministry of Works and Transport wishes to advise the public that there will be a temporary traffic disruption along the North Coast Road in the vicinity of the 11km mark. This has become necessary to facilitate the erection of a Bailey Bridge to maintain access to and from Maracas Bay and environs in response to the Landslip that has occurred. Work will commence on Friday September 21st, 2018. This project is expected to be done according to the following schedule: Works will begin at 6pm on Friday 21st 2018 to 6pm on Sunday 23rd 2018
(Stay tuned to the Ministry for updates as completion at a sooner time is possible)

It is important to note that the North Coast Road remains OPEN, however motorists are to expect some traffic delays. Motorists are asked to please proceed with caution.
