On the 31st May 2016, the Road Safety Education and Career Guidance Unit participated in a Safety Fair that was hosted by the Ministry of Community Development's Event Management Class of 2016.

Traffic Warden Road Safety Coordinator (Traffic Warden II) Kerri-Ann Elie, Traffic Warden II -Jovelle Jordan and Driver/Courier Anthony Cerio attended the Safety Fair which was held at the Egypt Government Primary School, Egypt Village, Point Fortin.

These members of the Unit lectured and distributed Road Safety Pamphlets and the 2016 Ticketable Offences Booklet.

The Road Safety Education and Career Guidance Unit was officially launched in July 2011 in order to promote safe driving on the roads of Trinidad and Tobago through the reinforcement of traffic laws and road safety education to the public.

The Office of Disaster Preparedness and Management, Fire Services, Police Service and the EHS Ambulance Unit were also present at the Fair.

After the event, the Road Safety Education Unit and Career Guidance Unit received a 'Thank You' card from Firefighter 1 Leah Payme-Figaro on behalf of the Ministry of Community Development Group 4 of Event Management Class 2016.
