The Amendment of the Motor Vehicle and Road Traffic Act , Chapter 48:50 to introduce a Disabled/accessible Parking System for persons with Disabilities in Trinidad and Tobago.



The Ministry of Works and Transport wishes to advise that the public is invited to review a draft Policy Document for the amendment of the Motor Vehicle and Road Traffic Act Chapter 48:50, to introduce a Disabled/Accessible Parking System in Trinidad and Tobago. 


This policy is the latest initiative in keeping with the Ministry’s commitment to the continued robust development and implementation of modern traffic laws for the promotion of road safety, as well as the regulation of road use and traffic management in Trinidad and Tobago. 

The policy’s proposals seek to ensure that the law is uniformly enforced in a fair and reasonable manner. 

Accordingly, the public is invited to review the draft policy document on the Ministry’s website and submit comments anonymously to the Ministry of Works and Transport.
