REGULATIONS


Made by the Commissioner of Police with the consent of the Minister of Works and Transport under section 67(1) of the Motor Vehicles and Road Traffic Act


THE TRAFFIC CONTROL (EXPERIMENTAL SCHEME) (CHAGUANAS/ENDEAVOUR) REGULATIONS, 2010


Citation1.  These Regulations may be cited as the Traffic Control (Experimental Scheme) (Chaguanas/Endeavour) Regulations, 2010.
Duration1.  These Regulations shall have effect from Monday 13th September, 2010 to Sunday 12th December, 2010.


Two-way trafficPART I
CHAGUANAS
2.  Vehicular traffic shall proceed in either direction on Ramsaran  Street, between the Southern Main Road and Marc Street.
Parking Prohibited3.  Parking is prohibited on:-
a)  Southern Main Road, from Factory Road to  the Triangle, Chase  Village; and

b)  Factory Road, from Southern Main Road to Perseverance Road.

One-way traffic
4.  Vehicular traffic shall proceed in a-
a)  southerly direction only on Andrew Street, between Southern Main Road to Algernon Street; and

b)  westerly direction only on 10th Avenue, Orchard Gardens, between Xavier Street Extension and Wilking Boulevard, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 9:00a.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., from Monday to Friday, except public holidays.

No right turn5. Motorist proceeding east along Southern Main Road shall not
  turn right on Andrew Street.


No right turnPART II
ENDEAVOUR

6.  Motorists proceeding—
  (a)  west on the Endeavour Flyover shall not turn right onto the northbound ramp; and
  (b)  east on the Endeavour Flyover shall not turn right onto the southbound ramp.


Offence and penalty
  7.  A person who contravenes any of the provisions of these  Regulations is liable on summary conviction for a first offence, to a fine of seven hundred and fifty dollars, and on any subsequent conviction, to a fine of one thousand dollars.

Removal and impounding of vehicles unlawfully parked  8. Without prejudice to any other liability incurred by the
commission of a summary offence, vehicles found parked in
contravention of these Regulations, may be removed by the Police and
impounded and dealt with in accordance with section 108(1)(b) of the
Motor Vehicles and Road Traffic Act.
