The Ministry of Works and Transport wishes to advise the general public that the construction of an overpass across the Diego Martin Highway has been included as part of its programme of works for fiscal 2018/2019, and the Ministry is now in its consultation phase with stakeholders including the Member of Parliament for Diego Martin Central and all residents.
The Ministry has commenced discussion with the Housing Development Corporation (HDC) and the Ministry of Education because of the location of the HDC residential complex and the Four Roads Government Primary School, where it is proposed that the western and eastern footprint of the overpass will be located, in the vicinity of Morne Coco Road and the Diego Martin Highway.
Designs and tender documents are substantially completed and upon finalization of the consultation process, the procurement processes will commence.

stakeholders’ meetings and underscores its commitment to transparency and value for
money in all its projects.
