Temporary Traffic Disruption(s) along the Churchill Roosevelt Highway between Morequito Avenue (in the vicinity of Valpark) to Spring Village Hindu School
The National Infrastructure Development Company Limited (NIDCO) in partnership with the Ministry of Works and Transport (MOWT) wishes to advise the general public (motorists/ residents/pedestrians) that there will be temporary traffic disruption(s) along the westbound and eastbound lane(s) of the Churchill Roosevelt Highway (CRH) between Morequito Avenue (in the vicinity of Valpark) to the Spring Village Hindu School. This is necessary to facilitate the completion of paving works associated with the Curepe Interchange Project. Works will be executed from Monday 27th April, 2020 to Friday 8th May, 2020 during the period 7AM to 7PM along the eastbound and westbound lanes of the CRH. A minimum of one (1) lane of traffic will remain open to motorists along the CRH at all times. Motorists are further advised that the speed limit of 60km/h along the CRH from its intersection with Prince Charles Avenue, Valsayn to Evans Street, St. Augustine remains in effect to facilitate construction works for this project. Motorists are therefore advised to comply with following:

• proceed with caution on approaching the work zone;
• observe all directional signage and traffic control devices provided on the approaches to the site; • be aware of heavy equipment entering and exiting the site; and
• instructions issued by police officers to facilitate a safe and orderly flow of traffic. All precautions are being taken by the MOWT, NIDCO and its Contractor to guarantee proper Health, Safety and Environmental Standards are maintained.
